NBA Finals - LeBron looses his magic as the San Antonio Spurs make it 2-1.

San Antonio Spurs smash Miami Heat 113-77 in the NBA Finals.

In the third of seven games the Spurs came out on top as they set a new record for the amount of threes scored in an NBA finals game. With a crowd of 18,581 including a colossal amount of celebrities watching, Gary Neal, who managed an awesomely impressive six three pointers and Danny Green sent the AT&T centre wild with their impressive performance. Green's defence sent San Antonio celebrating in to the fourth match."When I'm aggressive defensively it helps me get into a rhythm offensively," Green said. With 51 points under their belts, the two guards sent the Spurs in to a 2-1 series lead.

Miami Heat's LeBron James today spoke of his disappointment with not only his team's performance but his own. With the team and the the whole NBA community stunned by the result, James stated that he has to play better. It's as simple as that. With 21 shots at the net, the former Cleveland Cavaliers player only managed to successfully score seven of them.

After losing 103-84 to Miami in the second game thanks to one of the best blocks ever seen in the hands of LeBron James, the Spurs have now become favourites once more. This might have something to do with the fact that 12 out of 13 teams who have won the third game of the finals have gone on to win the whole thing. Pressure is now most definitely on the Miam Heat and their head coach, Erik Spoelstra agreed - We got what we deserved, I didn't even recognise the team that was out there tonight."

Tim Duncan was another Spurs player who had a night to remember. The power forward/ centre managed to 12 points through an impressive 14 rebounds.

It's been a long time since the finals saw their way to San Antonio and the supporters are more than ready to see their home team go all the way. If their team continues to play the way they performed yesterday evening then it might be very plausible to believe that the men from Texas could see the NBA Championship trophy being presented to them at the end of the season.

San Antonio well and truly distinguish Miami's flame as they power on to the fourth finals game.
